AMK Garden West
A community park located along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 and opposite the AMK Town Library! Very popular for

Mermoks or Zebra doves undergo training in this facility. Their cages are hoisted up to 20 feet, and they are
encouraged to sing along with the other birds. Aside from being a training facility, they also display an array of
different kinds of birds like shamas, jambuls, mata puteh, larks, thrushes, canaries, etc. Bird hobbyists frequent
this place to join competitions and to share their experiences and knowledge on how to care for different birds.
It is the largest bird singing and display arena in Singapore and one among the biggest of its kind in Southeast
Asia. It also has a park area with lush green sceneries where people can enjoy watching the birds from afar.

Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park


It is formerly known as Bishan Park. The Bishan-AMK park is a significant landmark in Singapore. This park
serves both residents of Bishan and Ang Mo Kio. The park’s location is inside the Bishan area, running along the
Ang Mo Kio–Bishan boundary line. The Kallang River lies in the middle of the park, running through a flat
riverbed. This park is perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities, romantic dates, and wholesome family fun.
You can do a lot of activities here, like walking your dog around the park, yoga, strolling and checking out the
cleansing biotope, recycler hill, etc. 

Ang Mo Kio Sidewalk Astronomy

The Town Council of AMK has painted murals on their walls that pay tribute to the Kampong spirit through
illustrations of Ang Mo Kio in its early days. You can see pictures of houses, people and culture all over the
